We’ll start with the exciting stuff, which is what’s in my makeup bag. I always bring my MAC Studio Sculpt Defining Powder in the shade Medium Deep. It’s a powder foundation, for touching up like when I’m sweaty and stuff. I apply it with my Bobbi Brown Powder Foundation Brush. I also carry a MAC Blush in the shade Swiss Chocolate, because blusher fades away quickly so you need to reapply. This kind of looks like I contour my face with it actually. I’ll apply this with an Estee Lauder Blusher Brush.
I’ve got this Bath and Body Works Anti Bacterial Hand Gel, which is basically a hand sanitizer. It smells really nice, like mint julep because… well, that’s what it is. It’s in this case which you’re supposed to hang on your bag and stuff but I just put it in my makeup bag. Then I’ve got this Innisfree Hand Cream in Wildberry, for when my hands get dry. Like, you know when you’re driving and the sun hits your hands and dry it out? That’s when I’ll use this, to make people think I have soft hands when I actually don’t.
I have a ton of lipsticks I carry around with me. We’ve got MAC Lipstick in the shade Rebel, you know because I’m a rebel. It’s quite a bold colour so I don’t really wear it that much. Mainly it’s for night time. EOS Lip Balm which I got in Japan. Smells amazing, like strawberries. I also love the smell of this Laura Mercier Lip Gloss. I don’t wear it too often- usually I just put it over my lipstick- but when I do, I feel like kissing myself. The lip colour I wear the most is this Etude House Dear Darling Lip Tint. It’s not too strong, just enough to enhance my natural lip colour. I often wear this to class.
If you know me you’d know that I can’t live without eyeliner. I use my Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner. I love it because it goes on smoothly and it makes my cat eye look really tajam and on point. To get my eyeliner to maximum levels of on point-ness, I’ll use this Etude House Styling Eyeliner on my waterline. Then finish off with my Maybelline Lots of Lashes mascara. Sadly, you can’t get this in Malaysia but I love this so much because it makes my lashes look individually separated and not clumpy. That’s about it for my makeup bag!
Next I carry around this Swatch Swiss Watch. I don’t wear it because the ticking annoys me so don’t buy it. Unless loud ticking doesn’t annoy you. Anyway, I have this pink notebook with a ‘B’ on it, where I write all my important shit- mainly assignments. My MUJI pencil cause… it’s light and aesthetic-y, just how I like it. Inside you’ve got all my MUJI pencils and pens. And of course my Sony camera. It’s a light, small camera which I definitely need because I’m a journalism student. All journalism students need cameras because you never know when you’ll have an interesting story you need to capture.
